How to pick an outfit for the first day of school

Everyone knows that making a good impression on the first day of school is crucial for your social life during the year. Here are some tips for putting together your back-to-school ensemble.
Besides you, there are going to be a lot of girls trying to be noticed. You'll want to be different, but how far are you willing to go?
-Firstly, pick your colours. These can be anything, as long as they don't completely match or clash. Also make sure they match you. For your best colours, see my earlier post, "What's your best colour?"
-Then pick your style. It can be anything from goth to sporty to hippie to preppy to girly o anything you choose.
-Hair is also a good thing to have pre-planned (actually everything is). You can curl it with a curler or straightener, straighten it or pin it up, have a high or low ponytail, or just leave it out naturally. I'll post a blog on Saturday with tips on what hair and makeup to put with each style.
-Finally just add makeup, not too much or people won't really see you under it, and even if you don't want to, it's good to use foundation or concealer to hide any spots or shadows you don't want seen. The most ideal makeup level is just a bit of eyeliner on the bottom lid, and a touch of lip gloss. It's good to look natural.
Thanks for reading and I hope this helps you at school,

-Scorpio
