Virgo's Birthday List

All right, now as you didn't already know, a few weeks ago was Virgo's birthday, and for that as well as back to school, she got a bunch of new clothes. This is a list of everything Virgo would get as her ideal birthday presents (including stuff she already owns)

• Oversized beret (black and orange preferably)
• Fuzzy moccasin slippers
• Brown 3-inch heeled knee-high boots
• Trenchcoat (beige/brown/red)
• Ribbed socks (for under short boots)
• Circle scarf (American Apparel)
• Cherry lipstick
• Rose-tinted blush
• Eyebrow pencil
• Silver charm bracelet
• White lace short high-heeled boots
• Leather jacket
• Blazer

Trending Jackets

OK, well I have come to a VERY tough choice. I was watching the Vampire Diaries (which is my FAVORITE show ever) first season DVD. Nina Dobrev (who plays the characters of Elena and Katherine) would always wear these BEAUTIFUL jackets. She wore leather jackets and blazers and in some episodes I saw her co-stars rock leather and jean jackets. No surprise here: blazers, leather and jean jackets are still seriously still trending right now. I'm in need of another jacket for fall but I don't know which to choose. Might end up buying more than one jacket.

Velvet Nails!

OK, well I was watching the Marilyn Denis Show this week waiting for Big Bang Theory to start and Marylin actually had a nail artist appear on the show. This is when I learned about velvet nails and as we all know textures are very popular this year. I love it!

How to get the nails? (from the Marilyn Denis Show)
1. First you need a powder for your nails or go to the craft store and look for something similar.
2. You paint your nails the colour you want (I suggest Dark Red; it looked awesome on the show).
3. Sprinkle the powder onto your nails (the powder should be the same colour as your nails).
4. Wait for it to dry.

New School Year
