FUN WAYS TO WORK OUT OVER THE SUMMER!

Summer is coming up in a few months and I'm so excited. Working out, on the other hand, can be super boring. There are, however, ways to make it fun. Here are my top 10 favourite ways to work out over the summer:
1) Dance: Dancing is a very fun way to stay active. Invite a bunch of friends over for a dance party and get your groove on!
2) Go for a 45 minute run: A short jog in the park early in the morning will really get your energy up for the rest of the day and get your heart rate up. If you have the choice, try going to the park: that way you can get a beautiful view and go jogging with a friend, or bring music so you don't get bored.
3) Beach workout: Running in the sand is harder than running on pavement, trail, or tread mill. This way you can cut the time to 30 minutes instead of 45 minutes. Plus, when you're finished you have the rest of time to hang out on the beach.
4) Swimming: Swimming is a great way to work out and soothe your muscles at the same time. If you have an injury, swimming will allow you to keep working out without making the injury worse.
5) Sports: Organize a game of soccer, volleyball, or even a nice game of badminton with friends. A great way to bring out your competitive side.
6) Hike: A nice hike out of the city at a conservation park will help you relax, clear your mind and provide you with some fresh air.
7) Yoga in the park: Yoga in the park is a great way to relax and do some stretching.
8) Biking or rollerblading: Definitely the best way to tone your legs, especially for bikini season.
9) Paddle-boarding, sailing, or kayaking: Boating is a great way to strengthen your arms and will keep you nice and cool in the heat
10) Rock climbing: Rock climbing is more on the expensive side but is a great way to build upper body strength.

Bumble and bumble (Surf Foam Wash Shampoo Review)

I recently tried Bumble and bumble's surf foam wash shampoo and it's amazing. I have curly/wavy hair and it worked perfectly on my texture. Literally, just after I washed and dried it I looked like I had just come from the beach. While amazing, this shampoo is rather expensive . It costs between $25 and $30 with tax which is a lot considering the size of the bottle. The shampoo also smells amazing. I actually went to the mall a while ago and found a perfume that smells a lot like this shampoo. It smells like a beach and has a fresh touch to it. It's very hard to explain but I do really like the smell and 2 days later I can still smell it in my hair. Overall I really liked this product because it makes my hair bouncy and very soft. I would definitely suggest this to anyone with curly hair.

DIY Mango Hair Mask

I decided I need to do a mask on my hair because I'm taking a sailing course and it's making my hair super dry and frizzy. If you're not familiar with missglamorazzi she is one of my favorite beauty gurus. She just came out with a new video on how to make your own mango hair mask. I haven't tried it yet but I'm really excited to try it as soon as I get all the ingredients. How to rock your feet

Step 1. Making the feet healthy!
  • Choose a natural soap
  • Cash your feet for at least 2 minutes when taking a shower and don't forget between the toes (some people actually forget the toes)
  • Don't forget to cut the nails
  • Dry and apply nail polish (completely optional)
Step 2. Finding the shoes!
  • Make sure to get comfortable shoes (you don't want to get blisters)
  • Don't forget about matching your nail polish and shoes together
  • If you're going to wear boots or running shoes I suggest you don't paint your nails
  • Make sure you actually like the shoes (and plan on wearing them)                                                                                           Psst: I suggest wedges
Step 3. Show off those beautiful feet!

Tips!
Try to only use natural products for this kind of stuff. I do pointe (ballet) so I really need to take care of my feet! (I know what I'm talking about)
