Think Pink Outfit Idea

I really love light pink, nude, and blues. This is a super girly outfit that kind of reminds me of Mean Girls, except without all the drama. I think this outfit is great for those girls who have an upcoming celebration,big event, or date. I was checking out the Seventeen website a little while ago and a found out the have a whole section devoted to how to do different hair styles. The nail polish below is from the company Butter London which, if you haven't tried it already, is awesome. The nail polishes come in such nice colours and they stay on for at least a week. They are more on the pricey side but completely worth it. I hope you like my little outfit inspiration post and I'll have the links for all the stores' websites below.

Cute and Classy Summer Outfit

I just finished reading The Notebook yesterday and had some outfit inspiration. The book is set just after World War II so the outfit is kind of vintage but modern at the same time. Honestly when I look at the outfit I feel like I live in the countryside. I calculated the overall cost of all the pieces and together they're $164 which is not too bad but you could probably find some similar pieces at discount stores like Value Village, Winners and your local thrift shop. CUTE IDEAS ON WHAT TO WEAR ON A DATE (in spring)!

Choosing an outfit for a date is no picnic so we are here to offer our help. I've come up with a few ideas for spring which are super pretty and won't empty out your wallet. Bring on the compliments!

You don't want to be too dressy on a first date (unless you're going to the Oscars or something along the lines of that). Sometimes jeans can be your best bet. So grab those jeans out of your closet. Right now for spring, white or light wash jeans are insanely popular. For jeans American Eagle is my go to place because they have quite a big selection and are incredibly comfortable, albeit expensive. If you are planning on rocking pants I suggest pairing them up with a lace shirt. Check out some of my jean and lace finds under $40.

If your not a lace person metallic colours are a great option. Again, you don't want to go over the top so one metallic item will probably be enough. I would suggest a dark metallic colour. Check out some of my metallic finds under $40.

Fall Trends 2011

Wide Jeans are really popular now especially for back to school. They are comfortable and easy to move in. (not to mention they look great with belts)

Polka Dots, stripes, and other different patterns are really popular!
Plaid is as popular as it was last year(especially on jackets)
Girly is really trendy(pink, ruffels, floral prints)
Keep it fresh with layers

Boots are very stylish especially black and dark brown
Keep it girly with ballet flats and interesting coloured running shoes.

Remember your style should be reflecting yourself, not anyone else
